Our Story
Nearly 60 years ago, Andy and Katie Skikos settled with their five children in Sonoma County and opened a small fruit stand on the outskirts of Sebastopol.
Along with his wife, his brothers and their families, Andy worked day and night seeking the freshest fruits and vegetables available.
As Sebastopol matured as a town, Andy’s kept up with the growing demands of the community by continuously expanding its small retail store.
Our Mission Today
We strive to maintain our old-fashioned fruit-stand charm while offering a modern and complete selection of fresh produce, organic foods, gourmet cheese, bulk goods, and natural specialties.
Our goal is to support local agriculture, provide the freshest possible goods, and keep building meaningful relationships in our community generation after generation.
Andy and Kathrin Skikos founded a humble open-air farm stand in Sebastopol.
The farm stand expanded, responding to growing community demand and deepening relationships with local farmers.
Andy’s developed its trucking and wholesale operations, sourcing directly from markets to supply local businesses.
The business continues as a family-owned market across four generations, with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren actively involved.
